45 stars for taste....4 stars for sugarAug 26, 2011
By Lynn
Big Train Fruit Tea Smoothie Strawberry flavor is very good. Just about everyone in my family loves milk, so we add this for strawberry flavored milk & once in a while I'll add ice cream for a shake & I've also made some smoothies with it too. The label suggests mixing this with water, protein powder, soy, or nutritional supplements. My biggest complaint is the sugar content which according to my label is 34 gr in 1/4 cup of smoothie base.

Because the label on my bottle differs from the product description on Amazon, I'll list it here.

Nutrition Facts:
Serving Size: 1/4 cup. Makes 8 fl. oz. blended beverage
Amount per serving:
Calories 140
Total Fat, Cholesterol, Protein & Fiber 0
Sodium 35 mg
Total Carbs 35 gr
Sugars 34 gr

Ingredients:
Seedless Strawberry Puree, sugar, water, natural and artificial flavor, ascorbic acid (Vit C), cellulose gum, green tea powder, potassium sorbate (preservative), sodium benzoate (preservative), malic acid & red 40.

5A Sweet Mango BlastNov 24, 2007
By Q.C.
I became somewhat addicted to Mango Madness at work. There was a coffee shop at my office that sold the delicious smoothie for $5.50 to $6.50 depending on the size. I'd get a smoothie at least twice a week. Luckily, one of the staff members told me which brand they used before the coffee shop moved.

After searching the Internet I discovered the smoothie mix on Amazon and it happened to be a special item for that month. I ended up purchasing the Mango Madness, Peach Pizzazz, and Pineapple Coconut smoothie mixes and got $20 discount. The products are great and well worth the price even without the $20 discount. I spent more than the regular price in a month just on smoothies from the coffee shop.

The smoothies made with this mix have a bright mango flavor, and you can vary the amount of smoothie mix to change the sweetness. Best of all there's no high fructose corn syrup and it's loaded with vitamin C. If you're like me and have smoothies often from a smoothie or coffee shop then the product pays for itself after using the first bottle which makes the two pack a great deal.

1Amazon's ingredient listing is totally wrong, kinda scammy!Aug 24, 2011
By Tmart
So I just received my 2 bottles of this stuff... I looked at the ingredients list... you will not believe what I read....

So the first 4 ingredients that Amazon list for this are: "Red Raspberry Puree, Blackberry Puree, Beet Sugar, Tea Infusion"

Sounds good right? Yes, that is why I bought it because the first 2 ingredients are fruit puree.

So this is what the first 4 ingredients on the actual package are:

"INGREDIENTS: SUGAR, WATER, SEEDLESS BLACKBERRY PUREE, SEEDLESS RED RASPBERRY PUREE"

guess what the 5th ingredient is? "NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS"

some other ingredients on my packaging that aren't listed on Amazon are "CELLULOSE GUM, MALIC ACID, POTASSIUM SORBATE, CARRAGEENAN, GUAR GUM, XANTHAN GUM, RED #40 AND BLUE #1"

Hold on a second!!! That is a HUGE difference, I thought I was buying a product that was mostly puree with some "beet sugar" to sweeten it but instead I bought 2 large bottles of Sugar with water in it and a small amount of fruit puree added, and then artificial flavoring! Bait and switch technique for sure! Amazon.... why????

By Aardvark "Ardy"
Using the Big Train Tea Smoothie infusions has become a daily addition to our diet and exercise program, added to fresh & frozen fruits, soy protein powder, psyllium, flax seed oil, water and ice - it creates a healthy, tasty way to maintain the antioxidants our body needs to sustain our busy, active lifestyle....and we are in our mid 60's! Feeling Good, thanks to Big Train and the many fruit flavors we use to vary our afternoon 'treat'.

5Yum!!Feb 10, 2010
By Honey B.
A coffee shop open up next door to my work place and they served these Strawberry smoothies that were awesome! I was afraid to ask the owner so I kept trying to see what brand these Smoothie mix are until I found out on my own. I've tried others by I kept coming back to Strawberry which has that strong taste. It's soo good!
