Fantastic tomato based sauce has the most versatile sauce for barbecued foods; a tangy sauce with a hint of smokiness and slightly sweet but without the overwhelming sugar and raisin sweetness of many other commercial sauces.
Great for pork and beef ribs by itself, use light coating on barbecued steaks and roasts. For yummy ham glaze; use microwave to dissolve crystalized honey, mix with ground cloves and worcestershire sauce into Open Pit.

I have grown up on Open Pit. It seems to be the only sauce that my parents have used, and the only on that I truly enjoy. It is sort of spicy, yet tomatoey (is that a word). A lot of stores have stopped carrying it on the East coast, but we have found it through Amazon.

I grew up in St. Louis, MO and there is a reason we are famous for ribs. I have been barbecuing ribs since I was 11 years old and I only use Open Pit. It is the best and every time a friend tries my ribs they say they are the best they have ever had and it is thanks to the sauce. I am so glad that you sell this on amazon, since I will no longer have to depend on my mom to bring me a new stock of BBQ sauce every time she comes to visit me in Utah.

I ONLY use Open Pit Barbecue Sauce. It is the best tasting one. I go to restaurants and try their ribs...but it's not the same. My family can't wait to come over my house for my famous ribs. I tell them it's the sauce that makes it. And I use it on my chicken wings. Great Taste and Flavor. I use the Original!! Don't stop making it please!!!

I love Open Pit's flavor and heat. No other sauce has a flavor like it. It's spicy, but doesn't have you running for the water or milk, and it's great on any meat. I've ordered from this seller a few times and it's always packed well and arrives promptly.
