We use it as a dipping sauce for our chicken. Traditionally, this is used with Mu-Shu Pork, and is know as the Chinese BBQ Sauce. We spoon it on our rice, our baked potatoes, and we use it instead of ketchup for our fries. Ok, we admit we are hooked on this. | | | Features: | |
• All Natural
• Gluten Free
• Incredible Hoisin Sauce, also available in Food Service sizes.
• No refined sugars, no modified starches.
• The secret to Mu Shu Pork!

Excellent rich flavor without high sodium. I use this in so many dishes, not just stir fry or oriental cooking. I use this as a finishing sauce for steak and pork shops. I also plan to use it for homemade soups and pot roast.
Just a great all round addition to my kitchen!!
Thank you, Wok Mei fot making this product and making it all natural as well!!

Problem Ingredients/Good ReviewerNov 29, 2010
By Mary-Claire Barton I was not going to buy this hoisin sauce since I could not find the ingredients listed anywhere and I need gluten free! But I went on to read the reviews and was most pleased to find out in one that it is indeed gluten free. Perhaps that should be noted somewhere near the product. Simply listing for ingredients: "all natural" does not exclude wheat, etc. When shopping online, you do need a complete and specific list of ingredients. Thanks Mary-Claire Barton

A very good gluten-free optionNov 07, 2010
By John Rosevear Is it as good as Koon Chun's hoisin, the global gold standard? It's awfully close -- and unlike Koon Chun's, it's gluten free! A superb product, especially for those of us trying to duplicate top-notch Chinese dishes while working around a gluten restriction.
Chinese restaurant owners, take note: They sell it in food-service sizes too.
