I had a bad experience with testing this plum sauce as it's so bitter and non-flavorful I can't determine what it's supposed to resemble. It's a thick corn syrup consistency but NOT what I expected. I thought it would be similar to the plum sauces you get at a Chinese/Japenese restaurant or something at least equavilent; but no....taste is awful & I will never buy this again. To this day I still have not located anything comparable to a restaurant quality plum sauce & even tried making it myself to no avail. 2 thumbs down.
